Screaming for Ice Cream

The sun decided not to shine today, but that doesn’t mean that today was crummy. Au contraire, I spent time with Paul, hung out with my adorable cousin Alexandra and I downloaded a ton of new music. Plus, watching Family Guy is always a win!

Paul and I headed to the mall to find him some new basketball shoes, but unfortunately, not one of the three stores had the shoes he wanted with his size. Boo! So he had to buy them online. After that, we grabbed some coffee. I love you Starbucks! Then we headed over to his house so I could finally see his brother’s baby.

The kid is adorable. He’s only 11 days old, but I already love him! It’s impossible not to love babies! Plus, Paul’s brother is one of the funniest people ever, so hearing all of his jokes about his son left me with a huge smile.

I spent the night with my 5-year-old cousin, Alexandra. We went to the Chocolate Shoppe, which is probably the coolest place ever.

Me and Alexandra

It’s only minutes away from my house, the ice cream is phenomenal and they transform it into a variety of different scenes every couple months.

The wheel!

In the past it’s been an ocean, vampire-themed for Halloween, a circus and a jungle. Now, it’s Egypt!

The Pharaoh eating ice cream

Alexandra got the Superman flavor covered with sprinkles. I love how kids choose their flavors primarily based on colors. Alexandra switches from Superman (blue, yellow and red), Cotton Candy (blue and pink) and Blue Moon (blue).

I went for Heaps of Love because it pretty much has every single delicious ice cream add-in known to mankind.

Alexandra got sick of her flavor really quickly, and ended up eating most of mine. Any ice cream is good ice cream to me, so I just finished off hers.

So adorable!

I love this girl!

Now I’m off for a late-night cereal snack. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday. I’m going out for margaritas with the girls, but I’m going to try to get a quick workout in after work.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Do you have any nieces or younger girl cousins who you love to spend time with? Any good song downloads lately?
