Although we haven’t played Scrabble in at least a year, Paul and I decided to take the dusty game out and play. Long story short, I won! It was really close though: 236 to 233. I’m sure if we play again, Paul will probably beat me. Here are some pics from the game.
I also forgot to post my snack plate picture from Friday, so here it is:
Yellow bell pepper, Wheat Thins, green olives, salsa, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes and black beans. Next time, instead of eating them all separately, I’m going to make a snack bowl. So many bloggers say that food always tastes better out of bowl, so I’ll have to put that to the test!
My mom made the family some avgolemono (egg lemon soup) today, and it hit the spot on a cold day. YUM!
On to the bad news, after my treadmill workout on Friday, my knees felt pretty bad. I’ve decided I’m staying off the treadmill for a while and I’m going to ice them. It’s really depressing, but I don’t want things to get worse. I’ll just have to find some other ways to get a good workout. I’m also not sure if I should even risk trying the elliptical.
